September 5, 2025ARTIST STATEMENT:
The studio is a space of becoming and unbecoming- for myself, materials, and subject matter. It reveals compositions of happenstance, and glimpses into internal systems of organization and the pleasure I take in labour.
Working at the intersection of sculpture, site-responsive installation, and craft, I use found objects as generative fodder for the creation of sculptural forms, organic material burnouts, and mold making.
Curating a collection of handmade sculptural objects, I create installations that operate in a manner akin to painting, playing with the boundary between found and fabricated space.
