Clay Explorers for Ages 2-17
Create with us @ Medalta! Our 8-week classes for kids age 2-17 include clay hand building projects that are thoughtfully designed for each age level.
From tiny hands exploring clay for the first time to teens developing their artistic skills, our classes offer a fun, hands-on experience that sparks imagination and builds confidence. Guided by friendly instructors, students will shape, sculpt, and paint their own unique creations while learning new techniques. It’s the perfect way to unwind after school, make friends, and create special projects to take home.

AGES 2-4
Adult + Child Classes
WHEN: Tuesday Mornings | 10:00am – 10:45am
DATES: October 7 – December 2, 2025 (No class on November 11)
COST: $90 for the full 8 weeks (GST included)
Our clay classes for ages 2–4 are a fun, hands-on experience where little ones and their grown-ups create side by side. Together, you’ll explore textures, shapes, and simple projects while building memories through playful collaboration.
Must have an adult in attendance for this class. Siblings must also have an adult present for each child.
Cancellation Policy: A full refund (less a $15 administration fee) is available if you cancel by the start of the program. For cancellations after the program starts or no-shows, we will be unable to issue any refund. If you need to cancel due to medical reasons (documentation required), a refund will be given.
Discounts: Are you registering multiple children? You’ll automatically receive a 10% discount.

AGES 5-8
Child Classes
WHEN: Tuesday Afternoons | 3:45pm – 4:45pm (1 hr)
DATES: October 7 – December 2, 2025 (No class on November 11)
COST: $110 for the full 8 weeks (GST included)
We invite young children to experiment, explore, and play with clay while developing creativity and new artistic skills!

Youth Classes
WHEN: Wednesdays | 3:45pm – 5:00pm (1.25 hrs)
DATES: October 8 – November 26, 2025
COST: $110 for the full 8 weeks (GST included)
Children take on more challenging projects that encourage them to follow their intrinsic interests, experiment with new techniques, and express their own unique ideas through clay!

Teen Classes
WHEN: Thursdays | 3:45pm – 5:15pm (1.5 hrs)
DATES: October 9 – November 27, 2025
COST: $145 for the full 8 weeks (GST included)
Our teen clay classes empower students to explore the creative process while building skills in critical and divergent thinking, problem solving, and idea development through hands-on, expressive projects.
