In this 5 day workshop, Sarah Pike will lead students into her slab-building world. Explore different ways to apply texture by carving stamps and texture tools of your own. Learn the intricacies of Sarah’s ideal slab; how to roll it and how to apply your unique textures to it. Shape those beautifully rolled slabs into a variety of forms, both simple and complex. Learn how to build your own slab designs in this 5 day intensive at Medalta.  Experience working with clay is required; if you have specific questions regarding experience level please contact Noriko Masuda at the email address below.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

A full refund (less a $25 administration fee) is available if you cancel by the registration deadline. If Medalta cancels, or if you need to cancel due to medical reasons (documentation required), you will receive a full refund. For cancellations 2 weeks prior to the workshop, a refund of 50% of the total fee is available. If you cancel within 2 weeks of the start of workshop, we will be unable to issue any refund.
