ARTIST STATEMENT
My mission is to enrich life and to raise human consciousness. I work to achieve this through the creation of functional art. From my earliest involvements with ceramics, I have been most interested in functional pottery. I have been drawn to making art objects that serve to enrich daily life, works that can be intimately utilized in daily rituals, allowing deeper connection to awareness. I believe handmade pottery can bring a sacred presence to our lives when we take the time to brew some tea, and appreciate the human energy that has been transmitted through the vessels we engage with.
