Kids Summer Camps @ Medalta
For ages 6 – 12
Our full-day summer camps @ Medalta are packed with hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and plenty of smiles.
Your child will:
• Hunt for clues on scavenger adventures through our historic site
• Get messy (in the best way) with clay in the pottery studio
• Create one-of-a-kind art projects to take home
• Play active games and burn off energy
• Explore science with fun, hands-on experiments
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm (drop off after 8:45 | pick up by 4:15)
Fee: $215/week (no gst) with sibling & multiple week discounts available

July 6 – 10
Games & Gizmos (ages 6-9)
Games & Gizmos is for kids who love to explore how things work while having tons of fun. Children will dive into hands-on activities that blend games, simple engineering, puzzles, and playful science. From building cool contraptions and experimenting with gadgets to team challenges and interactive games, everyday sparks imagination and problem-solving skills.
July 13 – 17
Playmakers (ages 9-12)
Campers become “playmakers” as they explore games, toys, and interactive experiences. Using the museum’s industrial spaces as inspiration, kids will design challenges, invent hands-on games, and experiment with materials and movement. From collaborative problem-solving to active play, each day blends history, creativity, engineering thinking, and fun. Playmakers connect yesterday’s industry with today’s imagination.
July 20 – 24
Rodeo Rumble (ages 6-9)
Set in a place that once powered hard work and innovation, this camp blends country and western fun with stories of pioneering life, farming traditions, and the animals that helped build rural communities. With plenty of imagination, teamwork, and down-home fun, Rodeo Rumble invites young wranglers to learn, play, and explore in a one-of-a-kind setting where history, agriculture, and western culture come together for an unforgettable week.

Lost in Space (ages 9-12)
Blast off into adventure! Lost in Space is an out-of-this-world kids day camp where an industrial museum transforms into a futuristic space station for the week. Perfect for curious minds, this week blends science, creativity, and imagination in a truly unique setting—proving that with teamwork and curiosity, even a historic factory can launch the greatest adventures in the universe.
August 10 – 14
The Wild Side (ages 6-9)
This camp invites young explorers to step beyond the museum walls and discover the exciting connection between nature, industry, and innovation. Campers will spend their days balancing outdoor adventure with hands-on discoveries. They’ll explore walking trails, observe local wildlife, and take part in nature-based games. The Wild Side is perfect for kids who love being active, asking questions, and discovering how the world around them works.
August 17 – 21
Time Travelers (ages 9-12)
Perfect for young makers and history lovers, Time Travelers turns an incredible historic site into a place of play, discovery, and imagination. History comes alive inside a real industrial museum, from imagining a day in the life of a factory worker to creating their own inspired artifacts, every moment sparks curiosity and creativity. History isn’t just something you read about—it’s something you step into!
