Each brewery will feature four delicious brews. From Hell’s Basement Brewery: Boxcar Comforts Blonde Ale, Paddle Wheel Pilsner, Ryes Against the Machine Rye Brown Ale, and they will be debuting their new beer Red Shed Irish Red Ale. From the Medicine Hat Brewing Company: Sin Bin Red Ale, Hatfield Blonde Ale, Industrial Avenue IPA, and the delicious Brick and Mortar Porter.
About Hell’s Basement: Six courageous beer lovers from Medicine Hat along with their families, friends, and countless members of the community worked tirelessly for six months to bring quality, craft beer to Medicine Hat. Our brewery’s name was inspired by the stories of Rudyard Kipling’s travels across Canada and his famous quote “This part of the country seems to have all hell for a basement, and the only trap door appears to be in Medicine Hat.” – Rudyard Kipling 1907
About Medicine Hat Brewing Company: In 1912 the first Medicine Hat Brewing Company was formed and a century later we’ve dusted the name off and again serve a timeless craft beer. These wonderful craft beers pay tribute to the streets and areas of Medicine Hat as well as paying tribute to the history of this amazing place. The Vancuren family, along with their amazing team, worked for several months to build what you see today and are proud to offer damn fine beer.
