ARTIST STATEMENT
Creating has always been an intrinsic part of who I am. When I was a youngster, my choice of toys were Lego and K’nex. I have always enjoyed building with individual parts that come together to form a whole. However, constructing becomes dull if I fully know the end result. Uncertainty allows for the process and I to make together; which leads to more excitement and intrigue. I have found clay to be filled with uncertainty and therefore, a great material to work with. Glad to have discovered something to do that is similar to something I did as a kid.
