We are looking forward to another fun-filled summer of children and youth programs @ Medalta.  Each year, we plan different themes, activities and experiences to make each program unique – there’s so much to do and discover! Every week is packed with fun and provides history exploration, museum tours and activities, outdoor adventure, creative experiments and new friendships! We are proud that our weeklong summer programs go above and beyond child care to create wonder and curiosity.

Each of our adventures run between 9am – 4pm and will provide opportunities to explore, discover, and create through:

  • Indoor and outdoor activities and games
  • Crafts – including a daily clay project
  • Specific thematic activities
  • Hikes/walks
  • Meeting special guests
  • And More!

Although most of these weeks are designated for specific age groups (6-9 and 9-12), one week is open for ALL kids (ages 6-12). Specific age appropriate activities will be planned and the group will be divided accordingly for these. Other activities will be designed to include all participants. Sound like fun? We think so!

We look forward to seeing you in the Historic “Play” District.

Programming runs each day from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  We do not offer before or after program care; prompt pick-up is requested.

We are also running Field Trips from August 2 – 5th. This week is reserved for community field trips. Visit Medalta for a tour of the museum and a clay project with your family, friends, or community group.
