Care of Ceramics with Medalta’s Collections Manager

Do you have vintage Medalta crocks, your Grandparent’s Hycroft dish set, or other historic ceramics you’d like to take care of? Join our Collections Manager Raene Poisson as she gives you some care, cleaning, and storage tips so that you can feel more confident in taking care of your ceramic heirlooms.

About Raene

Raene Poisson is a graduate of the Fleming Cultural Heritage Conservation and Management program (2017), and holds a BFA from the University of Saskatchewan (2014). Raene has worked on a number of object conservation contracts and internships across the country, which include the Western Development Museum, Parks Canada, the Canadian Museum of Nature, and the Ken Seiling Waterloo Museum. She has held the Collections Manager role at Medalta in the Historic Clay District since October 2021.
