ARTIST STATEMENT
Memories of my most intimate past inspire a search for sensuousness of the erotic. During times of uncertainty, displacement of the familiar touch brings forth personal transformation out of necessity, insecurity, and/or sentimentality. The struggle of this transformation manifests throughout my life highlighted by the search for meaning of self, sexuality, and displacement. By the virtue of undeniable necessity, respectfully I create and investigate beauty and the sublime in the erotic using the sensuous language of clay.
