Vendor Application
We are excited to invite you to join the Markets @ Medalta this summer season from May to September! Our market is held on the first Thursday of every month from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Medalta in the Historic Clay District, 713 Medalta Ave SE
As a vendor, you will have the opportunity to showcase your unique handmade goods to a diverse audience of visitors and locals. Our market is a platform for local artisans and vendors to grow their businesses and connect with customers.
We welcome all types of vendors to apply. This market is juried and vendors will be selected based on our demographic, esthetic and market needs. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible to secure your spot in the upcoming markets.

The Market @ Medalta will run from 4:00-8:00 pm the first Thursday of every month from May to September.
Set up will occur from 3:00-4:00 pm and take down from 8:00-9:00 pm.
Application Deadlines
The deadline to apply for each Market date is listed below.
Deadline for May 4 Market is April 17.
Deadline for June 1, July 6, August 3 and September 7 Markets is May 15.
Table Information
The table sizes are listed below along with the applicable cost.
One (1) 8’ x 30” – $99 (includes GST)
One (1) 6’ x 30“– $75 (includes GST)
Insurance
Medalta is on property owned by the City of Medicine Hat. It is required that Vendors with products in the categories below have liability insurance with coverage of up to $2,000,000:
– Food and ingestible products
– Cosmetics
Food Safety Certification
If you are serving prepared food or drink, you are required to have a Food Safety Certification. Vendors selling ONLY unprocessed fruits, vegetables, and other produce will not need a valid Food Safety Certification.
