Collections Room
Welcome to our collection area.
There are more than 30,000 artefacts in our collection. These ceramic and stoneware pieces have been generously donated to the Friends of Medalta Society over the years by a great many people.
As yet we do not have the capacity to make this collection available for public viewing but hope to begin the process later this year, commencing with the opening of our new exhibit area located in the Medalta Potteries site.
For those unable to visit us in person, we would like to introduce some of the pottery we have in our collection. Each month we will feature a different item, including a brief description of the piece itself and other related information of interest to collectors and researchers alike. We hope you will enjoy this addition and look forward to your comments and questions.
If you have a piece of pottery and want more information, you can contact our Collections Technician, Joyce, at joyce@medalta.org
