In this 5 day intensive workshop, Noriko Masuda will share various industry techniques in plasterwork that she learned during her training in Stoke-on-Trent. Learn to design and make your own plaster prototypes on the plaster lathe, bench whirler, or by hand-carving; learn to plan and make the appropriate moulds, whether they be simple drop-out, split mould, multiple piece moulds, double walled moulds. The workshop will involve various demos, slideshows, and ongoing feedback. Experience working with clay is required; if you have specific questions regarding experience level please contact Noriko Masuda at the email address below.
