Harry Potter Inspired Triwizard Tournament
Calling all wannabe “Potters”! Join us as Medalta Potteries magically transforms into a Wizard-in-Training Headquarters for one night only. You’ll be led through an enchanting challenge to discover the hidden Triwizard Cup. Venture through the Mystic Collection, Great Hall, Diagon Alley and more. After your adventure, wizards will celebrate with a refreshing Butterbeer and receive their very own limited-edition wand to take home. This adventure is open to all ages. $40 per person, starts at 6pm.
Exploring our Landscape: Industry and its Environments
The Historic Clay District isn’t just factories! This 150 acre area includes Seven Persons Creek, overgrown train tracks, fields and brush home to plenty of wildlife! Meander through it and you’ll likely meet a deer or a pheasant along the path. This outdoor experience is offered in partnership with the Grasslands Naturalists who will guide you through the landscape to interpret the current makeup of wildlife and geology, and talk about how natural elements and industry have affected one another over the years. $40 per person, starts at 6pm.
The Bricks that Built the Badlands
Step back in time to Western Canada’s longest-operating industrial site. In operation from 1886 to 2010, the I-XL Industries brick factory houses a vast timeline: Western Canada’s earliest industrial remains as well as the future of industrial robotics. Hear the stories that surround this enormous factory and its vibrant history. The factory rests at the foot of the stunning Badlands cliffs, alongside the rushing South Saskatchewan River. $40 per person, starts at 6pm.
