It’s always a sad ‘see-you-later’ when an artist leaves Medalta at the end of their residency and if we had the space, we’d ask them to stay forever. As much as Medalta’s Shaw Centre is a workspace for ceramic artists, it’s also very community-oriented. Most of the artists working at Medalta get plugged into Medicine Hat and form a big part of our artistic landscape.

So because we never like saying so long, we like to keep a little space for our artists, even if it is only online. Have a look through these pages to see some of the artists who have spent some time at Medalta.
