About the Authors:
Both Derek and Ann are teachers, having studied in England, at Lethbridge University, and also the University of Alberta. Derek has a B. Ed in Social Studies and a B. A. in Biological Sciences. Ann has a B. Ed in English. They are familiar with the Medicine Hat area, as they spent 10 years teaching in Foremost, Alberta. Both are avid antique and collectable hunters.
