Medalta’s 3,500 square foot Yuill Family Gallery is an elegant combination of century-old industrial brickwork and contemporary architectural design. Leading to the gallery are the excavated foundations of two historic beehive kilns – architecturally fascinating in their own right. The Yuill Family Gallery can feature up to four exhibitions at once, displayed on un-intrusive gallery walls which both highlight the artwork in the space and the space itself.

As a cultural and community hub, Medalta’s Yuill Family Gallery exhibits artwork from its own Resident Artists, community groups, partner organizations and travelling exhibitions. It is a dynamic and constantly-changing space which makes up a valuable part of Medalta’s overall Museum experience. Exhibit receptions provide excellent opportunities to meet the artists and mingle with other like-minded members of the community. Everyone is always welcome.
