Medalta’s adult pottery courses are great opportunities to explore your creativity and use your hands to create something of your own. Whether the only clay you’ve ever touched was dug out of your back yard when you were five years old or you’re an experienced potter, these classes are for you.

Instructors are Medalta’s resident artists, who come from across Canada and around the world to work at Medalta and live in our community. These artists bring their own techniques, expertise and vision to each class. They may be sculptors, potters or designers and are excited to share their knowledge with you. All pottery classes are held at the Shaw Centre, where these artists’ studios are. Classes are casual, safe, fun and encouraging spaces to explore your own creativity and watch it slowly come to life in your own hands.
